Is the time glitch in the Sims 3 fixed in the Ambitions expansion pack?

I only own the first sims 3, I looking around to buy one of the expansions and decided on this one. I just wondered if they had fixed the time elapse problem. Have they or not hah(: Thanks for the future answers!
